Restaurant on beach in Ft Laud?

Can anyone recommend a place for nice dinner in Ft Laud near Galeria Mall on the beach, or w/ a view of the beach? We will be there for a night before our cruise, and want to go out for a nice dinner and shopping.

It is actually at the Galleria Mall so no beach, but Seasons 52 is a great restaurant. Another nice place is 15th Street Fisheries.

There is a wonderful restaurant on the beach, but it is north of the Galleria. It is called the SeaWatch. Absolutely gorgeous setting, great food, and if you get there before 6 pm, they have an early bird special. 3 course meal for $29.95/pp. The Pier66 Bar and Grill is on the Intracoastal across from the Port, which has excellent food. Charlie's crab is on the Intracoastal, great food and drink. There are some nice little bistros on Las Olas Boulevard, but right at the Galleria, Dave is right.

When we go to Ft. Lauderdale, we eat at the Mai Kai. It is a Polynesian restaurant with fabulous food and motif. For an extra charge, there is a show, too.

It is not on the beach, is rather expensive, but is very special. If you go to maikai.com you can check it out.

Sounds like you have a lot of choices!
