I was a little apprehensive about a cruise as well. After our first cruise, I was hooked!! Where else can you go and unpack once, but see different places? We have a group of friends that do the all inclusive's every year. It just doesn't interest me at all. Same place, same beach, same everything for a week. Don't get me wrong, some people enjoy that, but I think I would get bored. Even at sea days, there is always something to do. I have even talked about 14 friends into going next year. We are going to do what was said previously. Have a cruise meeting. I will show pictures of previous cruises along with all of the islands that we have visited. Even after discussing this with them, they are getting excited just thinking about the meeting!! Once you have them hooked, they'll thank you over and over again. Cruising is the best!!

we have some friends who did an all inclusive at Porta Vallarta and every time I mention a cruise they say don't go to Mexico. I have the best time there but I have to worst time trying to convince them that the two trips are completely different. I wouldn't go to one port for a week either but they think it is the same either way. They are sort of what I consider my road block

If you can get your hands on a lighted Palm tree it adds to the ambiance of any cruise party too.

Funny you should mention that. Last night I install two lighted palm tress on my wall behind my gazebo bar. We are having our 39 wedding anniversary party tonight, let's see if the ambiance thing works.

Sonny V,
Don't know what your lights look like but check out the palm tree at this sight. It's a big one. www.christmasdonebright.com Look under miscellaneous.

Congratulations on your 39th anniversary! I hope you have a great party. This year we are celebrating our 20th and I can't believe it has already been that long!
