Cool - cruised on the Carnival Glory and loved it. Now I see that the Carnival Liberty made the ranks. Fantastic - that's my next cruise.
Thanks shanghai 100 - I might consider one of these other ships as well.
Thanks Shanghai.. I went to the site and read the methodology of the rankings. It was as I feared.. they were ranked based on responses from the Conde' Nast Traveler members. So, the poll will be biased towards the cruiselines with clients that belong to CNT. I'm not trying to sound like a snob or put down the poll, but it would explaing why the top of the poll are Celebrity ships followed by HAL... those lines attract and older crowd that would tend to be CNT members. Still its kind of interesting to go and look at the other polls on the site you provided.

Jim,
Not trying to be argumentative but "CNT" is not a membership organization - its a travel magazine. Are you implying that its only the "older crowd (impling more affluent)" that reads Conde Nast Traveler? If that is the case, what travel magazines do the "younger (less affluent)" travelers read?
Excuse me, ChucksOK, for jumping in here,
but I subscribed to CNT for several years but finally cancelled because it was aimed at a much higher economic level than where I reside. I mean I liked looking at all those fabulous resorts and world class hotels, and even the enticing advertisements, but after a while it started to frustate me; I too often said to myself, "I'm never going to go there or stay there or buy that!"
If anyone knows of a travel magazine for us older, not-so-affluent folk I'd love to hear about it.
On a side note, does anybody remember a cruise magazine called Porthole from a few years back? I thought it was great; wha" happen?
F-mattox: I am glad you brought up Portholes! I just googled it and subscribed for 2 yrs @ 19.95. Thanks for the tip!

No, thank you!
I use to buy it on the news stand and just stopped seeing it and assumed they ceased publication. Glad to hear it's still around.
Never thought to Google it.
