Digital Camera info

Just in case anyone out there is looking for a decent camera. I purchased an Olympus Stylus 720 that is completely waterproof up to 10 feet under water for an hour. I brought it with me on a jet ski excursion. I did NOT submerge it in the water , but it did get wet! Takes pretty nice pictures too! Just thought I'd share this info with all of you cruisers!!!

We took our Kodak digital camera on our cruise and it went "dead" the 3rd day. We couldn't get it to recharge. We are trying to recharge it at home, but not having much luck. A computer tech told me that many of the digital cameras are affected by humidity and we may have damaged our camera.

I always wanted to ask if anyone had any recommendations on what camera to bring on a cruise. Thank you CruiseQueen2.

We take our digital, but I wont leave home without my 35mm. I know when I get a picture on my 35mm I will have the picture. On my digital, sometimes. I like being able to edit the pictures from a digital, also like not having to have film. We have a Kodak digital that does a great job, but there so dang many settings, and I'm a computer weenie. I still love my 35mm. Not much help am I? Best wishes!
