Without knowing anything about your tastes and standards on cruising, I don't know how anyone could answer that question for you.

However, if you are used to RCCL's product I personally don't think the NCL Dream would meet your expectations. But, if you are willing to go into it with the mindset that it will be a different cruise experience, then you can find terrific price deals by sailing on NCL. Just don't expect them to be a match to RCCL in everyway.

It's like comparing apples to oranges, they don't offer the same concept in cruise experience. I personally enjoy NCL. I love the dive-in program. RCCL is just not the same atmosphere. Jim has some great advice, don't go with preconceived ideas.

One of the frequent posters here who cruises NCL a lot says there are no bad cruises, jsut some better than others. If your expectations are right that's absolutely the case. If you go wanting or expecting one thing and are unwilling to adapt and experience something new, stick with RCI. Dream is an old ship but from another frequent poster who just returned from Dream, she's well maintained and was clean and just back from refurb with new mattresses and other nice things. I'd cruise Dream again if she were still at Port of Houston and the price was well below the other choices. But if price and ports were similar on other ships it would be hard to attract me to Dream.

Cheers, Neil

N. Dream is a nice ship, in my opinion, but if you are accustomed to Royal Caribbean's ships I suspect you'd be disappointed. But, tell us more. Which ships have you been on? What did you like about them? Dislike? Are you more interested in the ship or the destination (which I presume is Bermuda)?

I need to clarify something Neil said above. I am the one who just returned from N. Dream. I don't know if the mattresses are new... they felt new, but I can't be sure. Sorry I wasn't clear in my earlier post, Neil.
Happy cruising!
