I am travelling with my family (husband and 2 kids) on RC Explorer of the Seas; we have a stateroom. Does anyone know how many beds there are and how they are set up? Are there bunk beds that come out from the wall? Is there a queen sized bed below?

there are several different configurations per ship. In the lower grades, cabins with extra berths have bunk beds that fold away during the day, while in the higher grades, there are sofa beds, as well.
When I sailed on that ship there were four college guys in our cabin. It was a little tight (think the room was smaller than Carnival's) but we managed just fine. The 2 bunk beds folded out from opposite walls. Each had a removable ladder and a bar to keep you from falling out. The two bottom beds we directly below the bunks. They were also singles though they could have easily been pushed together to make a queen (king?). Beds were fine though.
