I just did a system search and the lowest priced balcony in my system for your time frame is NCL Sun, 1JUN 2008 at $1349. pp + tax of $114.20 pp. If that doesn't meet your budget look at oceanview or inside.
If you just scratch the line Dave put in about the balcony you can still book the trip he so eloquently described and researched for you.

Yes, I believe the website I used had inside cabins on the Golden P that would put four people close to the price limit.
