We actually bought a motorhome a couple of years ago with the intention of cruising a little less and doing some RVing (hubby and I both raised RVing).

Needless to say that while we have used it for a couple of long vacations and some weekend jaunts....our number of cruise per year INCREASED instead of decreased...so I think we are going to sell the RV. I just can't get past the "me having to cook on my vacation" thing. Funny how you see things differently when you are an adult than you did as a child.

Hubby and I both loved RVing as children...because we had no responsibility!!!

An RV seems like a pretty cool idea to me. Kinda like a land cruise. If you're doing the cooking and I can get a cabin steward I'm ready to book a cabin on your next trip! What's the per person rate?

my wife & i have just started to cruise, we think its great, as someone said its a floating motel

we have done 2 cruises & we have 3 booked in for the new year

Yes it is really that good but be prepared to become a cruise addict done one going on second in 6 days big count down began also so keen on cruising trying to talk our daughter into getting married on cruise ship next year what an excuse to get all the family on one. you have been warned look forward to great times.
