yes, indeed. The "Oceana" is the former "Ocean Princess", now sailing for sister company P&O Cruises.
However, as far as geographical terms are concerned, Oceania is actually the correct spelling of the region of Oceania (see Wikipedia), while "Oceana" seems to be a "fictional name".
It's been almost a month since asking the question, forgot to look for the answer
But I'm thinking....that pronunciation must drive a few language purists around the bend since the word looks like it should read "oh shun EE ah" or "oh shee ANN ee ah".
But then we would not have had all this interesting background on the ship etc etc.
