Realizing that Carnival at one time had a Non Smoking designated ship that has since been kaput, are there any cruise lines anywhere in the world that have a smoke free cruises?

I have to say that even with the limited amount of smoking areas on HAL, we never did smell the cigarettes, and all of their casinos have now gone smoke-free as well.

There are a couple I know of though not totally smoke free they only have 2 designated areas for smokers
1 small area in the lounge and 1 small area on pool deck
They are not big ships and you do pay a bit more than the mass market lines

Look at Oceania & Azamara ...a lot more ships are cutting down on the smoking areas

I think that is all HAL had, I know one small one on the Lido pool deck, that is the only place we saw people smoking anyway.

dhornick,

there are no non-smoking cruise ships any more.

However, Lyn's advice is a good one: Both Oceania Cruises and Azamara Cruises allow very, very limited smoking - limited to one tiny section of one public room and one tiny section of one open deck.

My first cruise was on the Paradise back when it was smoke free. They had to kick a woman off for smoking in her cabin. I don't remember which port they left her at but she and her daughter were booted.
