By June, temperatures should be starting to warm, but as is true of Alaska all season long, be prepared for anything, from rainy 50s to sunny 70s. I wouldn't pack a lot of shorts, and definitely bring rain gear, as southeast Alaska has a wet climate.

Last time I was up there in June, it was in the 60's. The weather seemed to change alot. Rain, sun and rain again. Dress in Layers then you can take items off if the temp rises, and add when it drops.

Have fun

Don't forget gloves, hat, and a warm coat. I forgot these things the first time I was in Alaska which was in July. One sea day it was so cold and snowy that I had to purchase these items from the gift shop. The next day at port I was wearing a short sleeve shirt and wishing I had brought some shorts.

THE key to Alaska is layers.

I have been twice & neither time had beautiful weather than others were lucky enough to enjoy.

Be prepared also for rain. Especially in Juneau.
If you are planning any tours to the glaciers be sure to bring warmer clothing - gloves especially. It is much colder up there.

Enjoy your cruise.

As others say layers is always proper for Alaska. I have been fortunate enough to have it in the high 70's in Alaska in June so it is possible but it can turn cool quickly.

I have been in Alaska in May when the coldest day was 67. One thing to make sure of is raingear of sometype because Juneau and Ketchikan are rain forest areas.
