Sorry all HAL supporters. I fought the good fight, but the odds are overwhelming. At least it can be said I went down swinging. But it's time to pass the baton. Good luck.

Yes it does actually. I believe they call that a pile driver.

f-mattox, I'll back you up.

As to the original question, the second person in the cabin pays the same as the first, regardless of age.

Thank you, LisaP; that means a lot coming from someone I admire and respect as much as you. It's feeling a little lonely out here tonight.

Happy cruising to you, also.

HEY!!! Less of the Granny Mr. f-mattox. You cannot argue that the smaller HAL ships have a higher average age and a quieter atmosphere. Thank goodness for cruise line choice and variety.
Buy the time I am a cruise guru I hope to have sailed on all the major lines even if it means staying up past 10pm.
P.S. Vodka mixes well with everything.

Thank you for the kind words, Rick. Right back at you.

We were among the youngest pax on our Celebrity cruise last week. Didn't bother us a bit -- in fact, I loved hearing about everyone's travels, which are far more extensive than mine. (And, the slowest walker on the ship was probably our son, still limping from foot surgery earlier this year.)
