It took us 4 weeks, but that was last year.

I'm wondering the same thing...We applied Feb 16th and are still waiting.

I applied in January. Was told it would take 6 weeks. It was delivered during the 10th week!
You can get on line to track the progress of your passport. It will give you an approximate date. However, each time that I checked, the date was pushed further. I finally stopped checking! LOL

We applied last month (April) and were told 10 weeks, but I read somewhere it may be closer to 12. I tried to track it, but the website says it may take about 4 weeks before it even shows up in the system. At least we aren't cruising until October (never thought I'd say that).

Thanks everyone...I was just wondering what my timeline was. I need to split up applying for our passports - DH and me and then the kids - over a couple of paychecks. Just a bit much to do all at once! Not leaving until end of Sept. so we still have 5 months.

FYI, even though it is taking between 10-12 weeks to get them back, you can call the 800 number that cousins provided if you don't have them back 2 weeks before your departure. You can have it expedited and they'll make sure they get it to you before you leave. Be aware that it is an extra $60 per person to have the passport expedited.

Would recommend paying the extra . We arranged passports on Feb. 9th recieved end of Feb. paid $60. DO budget extra. there are postal fees and photos fees. My total was about $127.postal fees, photo fees. I arranged this through my local postal office. If you are member of Auto Club photos were cheaper.
