Thanks for the welcome back Andrea and Neil. I think it's good to be back; but my trip to Oregon, seeing our retirement property, some log home builders, and our subsequent trip to the south coast of Oregon (watched a 12-year old land a 30 pound Chinook Salmon-wish it was me), made me want to retire that much sooner. I'm ready to build near Sunriver, and for the first time I can remember, I'm not gregariously looking forward to going to the office tomorrow. I guess I'll have to focus on my upcoming Mexican Riviera cruise to get me over my post-Oregon retirement planning/building trip blues.

Sounds like some beautiful areas you visited. Neighbors of my parents recently finished their log home. It is incredible inside and out! Thinking of your cruise will hopefully help with the post trip blues.

Welcome back GC, I'm on the southern retirement plan, have to hit the lottery. I'm ready to retire now! Do you really like cold weather? I know Oregon isn't as bad as Colorado or Wyoming, but wouldn't the Caribbean be better?
