Recently I received an email from a person on cruise-chat. The email was "filtered" through cruise-chat. I was wondering how this is done.

Would someone please give me instructions on sending a personal email?

Nadine M, I'm not sure if this is what you are asking, but if you send somebody at cruise-chat a private message, and that person has agreed to e-mail notification, that person will receive the message on their personal e-mail as well as in the Personal Zone at cruisek-chat.

I received one too and just answered it. I dont know if it was a legit email or if people are getting bulk emails now. Mine was asking about Alaska, what was yours?

The two I received were in response to posts I had made about the Grandeur of the Seas. They were both legit and it was nice to communicate on a personal basis with these two people.

I never heard back from the one I answered. There was someone awhile back that emailed me from Cruise-Chat about what to do in Alaska. I have been on 2 cruises and 2 flying trips up there as I have family in Anchorage. It ends up she will be staying at my cousins B&B in Seward so that is cool. She is from Sacramento, which is 40 miles south of where we moved from 10 years ago when we moved to Minnesota. We are taking a trip back there in October so we are going to get together for lunch while we are there. Should be pretty cool. Thanks for your response.
