Just replying to bump the poll up to the top... Dave, you should make it sticky (like the cruise ticker post (which of course probably could become "unsticky" now)

I of course answered "texas ports" but in reality I could probably do as far east as Mobile (yes its a big drive but not as bad as the airfare for a family to Florida). Maybe a better way to ask the question is if you grouped areas together or made it possible to vote for more than one port.

Hello everybody,

the German forum section of Cruise-Chat.com did a member cruise in 2005 already (with close to 100 participants) and we're having a second one scheduled for November, 2007. For anybody interested, the details (in German) are posted here.

Let's hope we can expand this great idea to the other side of the pond!

Im in... depending on how things go here at work the next week or two.

The toughest thing is the take off port.
I'd like to meet some of the clowns here
I have a feeling it would be a fun night in the cigar lounge with you guy's.
A quick 4 day cruise would be good .

Any port is fine with me but can we make this in 2009 to give us time to save, plus it would be our 25th anniversary and we were planning a cruise somewhere then anyway. Of course, 2008 would be okay, just not this year.

Me too. I can easily imagine the banter and wisecracks between us and with the bar staff too! We'd no doubt be "the entertainment" for everyone else. Sort of a lower level "rat pack" encounter. You can be Sinatra. I'll be Peter Lawford since I have no talent.
