Hello,
After 12 cruises and all of them very enjoyable I have two stories that I will share with you.
We went on a 7 day cruise to Mexico when my children were 12 (daughter) and 7 (son)respectively. We were at sea on a sparkling day and I was out on deck in a windswept place trying to read. My liitle guy found me and informed me that ice cream was available. Sure, I replied., and would he be kind enough to go get some and bring one back to me. When he returned with the ice cream cone and just as he was handing it to me, a gust of wind literally knocked the ice cream onto his chest. He was wearing his swimming trucks but no shirt, so the cool ice cream met his skin. Now, you probably think that a 7 year old would be heartbroken but no, he began laughing and couldn't stop. I cleaned him up a little bit and we went to get some more.
We went on another cruise to Mexico and I was alone out on deck about 6:00PM on a December day, standing in the very front of the ship. Over my right shoulder there was a full moon and the most spectacular moonbean one can imagine, and off to my left the sun was setting in the Pacific, with a unbelievable meeting of sky and ocean. One way was the moonbean, the other was a setting sun.
Hope you all have more great memories of cruises.
