Diamond Princess-Far East

We have opted for Diamond Princess to The Far East for April 2009 and a PH suite. I understand 'extras' come with this suite. Can anyone enlighten me as exactly what to expect or any hints/tips on the ship or ports of call. It's still an awful long time till we go but the excitement never ceases to amaze me.

are you doing the 16 day Bangkok to Beijing or the 32 days to Anchorage? If the latter, you are really going to appreciate one of the perks: complimentary laundry and dry cleaning. I know, we've all heard horror stories about laundry services on ships, but I've used them a couple of times now with very good results.

You receive all of the same extras as the Elite Captain's Circle members; mini-bar set up, deluxe canapes delivered to your suite on formal nights, internet access, upgraded cabin amenities; and some just for suite passengers; fresh flowers, luxury balcony furniture, DVD/CD player and free rentals, and more that I'm not remembering at the moment.

I have not had the pleasure of cruising the Far East yet, so I can offer no suggestions on ports. But I am very familiar with Diamond Princess, so if you have any questions on the ship, please just ask.

Hey Rick,
I'm doing the 16 day Bangkok to Beijing cruise and can hardly wait. Thanks for the info. It just keeps getting better and better. I would love to hear from anyone who will be on the same cruise. Anyone out there???
