How early do you start packing?

Are you a procrastinator and wait till the night before or do you start packing your stuff 2 months before? Just wondering.....
Personally, I have always been a procrastinator. More fun that way. It's not like I sleep the night before I leave anyway!

Since I mostly cruise during the winter months I basically start packing when I put my summer clothes away. I put what I think I might need in a separate storage bin that is marked as cruise clothes. About a month or so before I go I get that bin out and start sorting what I want to take and what still fits. I have found those packing bags better know as space saver bags are great for packing. Roll your clothes put them in the bag, roll the air out and bingo you can get double the amount in your suitcase. I have found I use less luggage with these bags. You can purchase them at almost any discount chain store, got mine at Wal Mart, in the luggage dept. Once onboard the cruise I unpack and if things are wrinkled I just spray the items with one of the wrinkle releasers and hang in the closet. Most wrinkles will fall out and I'm ready to go. Give it a try, works for me.

Usually I start a day before in case I have to run out for some last minute item. Most of the packing is done the night before the cruise though.

Ok maybe I'm lame but my suitcase it already partially packed and I don't leave until Sep 29.
I just get really excited before a cruise and get carried away.

I "accidentally" always seem to leave some things at home. Gives me a reason to go shopping and buy new stuff.

Well I have a few cruzin' things that I always take so they just stay in the suitcase. I guess I am always partially packed.

I usually start packing apx. 1 month before. But I make lists way in advance, what to wear, what stuff to take, what excursions to do, ports, times, layovers ECT. If I can make a list for it I will!! Then redo my lists over and over and over............

well is more like this:

*packing= one week before my trip.

*Buy things for the trip = 6 month earlier

You know after christmas there is not much to do between January and my trip, usually during summer, and well since I live in PR a tropical beach is not an option so I keep my mind off work that way...
