Is there a particular TSA lock one can use for travel, or as long as it has TSA on it, will it be okay?? I just feel better locking my luggage and I have heard you can only use the TSA. I found TSA locks at Walmart but they don't change colors when you unlock them at least i don't think they do.

Why would it matter if it changes colors or not. I don't lock my luggage since 9/11. I expect them to look in my luggage. I'd feel safer if I knew they where looking in luggage when they see anything supicious. If they see a lock they will probably be more incline to open it.

I guess my concern with locking luggage is due to theft once and I have felt violated ever since. American Airlines workers stole items from not only my baggage but some of the others that were flying with us as well, one persons baggage was cut open, so I just feel safer is all.

Spritfilled,

the lock must have one of the logos pictured on the following site:

http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtrav...ant/locks.shtm

I'm moving this thread to the General Cruise Chat forum.

Someone said the colors need to change that way you will know if security has been in the luggage. I have that symbol but the colors don't change, is that still okay?

The thread was moved because it relates to general cruise info and not specifically to RCI. That's all there is to it! We will move something to a more appropriate section of the forum (it is all one forum) when we feel it necessary - so that others may benefit from it. Many people only visit certain sections and avoid others - thus those who do not visit the RCI section never would have saw this thread.

Thank you but the exclamation point behind "That's all there is to it!" seemed kinda rough I was just asking a question.

Spirit Filled, I take that to mean, "no big deal", just a little housekeeping. Funny thing about the exclamation point, it good be a fist pounded on the table or it could be raised eyebrows with a smile.
