Any input about the ship is most welcome...suggestions for shore excursions
St Thomas/St Maartin
Is it recommended to go to one of the restaurants on board?
first time on RCC and have only been on Carnival so not used to all the extra costs
Anyone going the same time as we are would love to connect we are in room 7350

If you're a shopper, St. Maarten is becoming quite the place for bargains. Both St. Thomas and St. Maarten have good shopping. We usually go to Trunk Bay on St. John when we go to St. Thomas, but have gone to Coki, Magens, and Sapphire beaches. We've also gone to Bluebeard's and done the tram to the lookout. The last time we were in St. Maarten we went to the TikiHut for a snorkeling trip. We had a wonderful time, great people running it. Hope this helps some.

Carnival cruises are good but I will tell you that Royal Caribbean cruises are top notch. We are going on the Freedom on Nov. 21. We have not yet been to St. Thomas or St. Martin but we are really looking forward to it. Let us know your thoughts on the ship and ports when you get back.
