Definately don't forget the Lomotil. You never know when the Montezumas Revenge will sneek up on you. Also, space bags!! Assuming you will buy extra stuff along your cruise, you can use the space bags to pack when you come home. If your like me, you need MORE room. I love my space bags. I get them at walmart/kmart, they have a one way air outlet valve. No vacuum needed. Be careful of your luggage weight. Lil' Lori

Jim beat me to it as well, absolutely take Imodium. I know I have said this many times so please forgive...Those sunsreens are sad if you are going to be in the water. Especially salt water, they will deteriorate quickly. I recommend BullFrog brand sunscreen, it is specifically made for the water. My other ones are:

1. Patience
2. A good attitude

Michele, LilLori is right on about the luggage weight. We found out the hard way in February. It's maximum 50 pounds, each piece of checked luggage. We were doing some really good "juggling" at our local airport. At LAX they had a large scale available where you could weigh before you checked in. It's either shift your luggage contents or pay the extra money for the added weight. A'ndrea

If you're in water...disposible water camera,a few empty ziplock baggies, cheap water shoes. Bonine and Pepto, When getting off the ship a small backpack to hold personal items...be aware of where you place your money. Depending where you're in port....HAND SANITIZER, toilet seat covers, chap stick, emergency phone numbers
bottled water for when in port. We always save room in our suitcase going for bottled water, soda and snacks. That way on the return we have room for souveneirs!

Just a tip on the backpack: I use a waterproof one for ports, not a canvas one.

tncruiseman, made a great suggestion as well. You do need a decent credit card. I would also take some traveler's checks instead of the cash though
