If you go in port to see the sights...and somehow you lose your id card...how do you get back on the ship?

Well, you will have to get someone to come down from the ship and let you in through the "port" authorities. But at the ship, they can look up your name/room number and pull up your picture and verify you. Then you can go to the purser's desk and get a new card.

Its best if you don't loose your card, but of course it can happen.

Hey, cousins. I have been using lanyards over the years to keep my S & S cards safe. They are fairly inexpensive and work well.

Not sure about the other lines but on Carnival you can get a free lanyard in the casino.

This was not a SeaPass, but rather a Sail & Sign. I left mine in a slot machine (once).

They closed that folio so that card could not be used and gave me a new one. They put a bungee cord type thing on my card everytime I came back to the casino after that.

I have never lost mine while off the ship before. This is interesting to me as it could happen for sure.

Thanks Dave, never heard of that term. I take it the Sea Pass Card has a hole in the top of it?
I'm not sure about putting that target on my chest- "Tourist Here"
Not sure I want it in my pictures either.
If they do have a hole on them- perhaps a keychain with the buckle hook/latch that can be attached to a belt loop under the shirt. I'm gonna have to think about this!
