Anyone from Siesta Keys area in Florida?

We get off the ship in Jacksonville and then head that way to see my best friend who recently moved down there. I am wanting to book a condo or hotel for a couple of days while we are there and just can't seem to find exactly what i am looking for online. It always takes me back to sarasota area when searching. I definitley want the place to be oceanfront. Anybody?

Hi Amanda, not sure if you've found a place yet, but if you can't find anything on Siesta Key, I suggest Longboat Key (my favorite place). Not sure of the price range that you are looking for, but there is a Hilton on Longboat key, and I can suggest a couple of places that we have been staying at for over 20 years that have rooms facing the water. my e-mail is beach_sunone@yahoo.com.

I ended up at Seashell condos in siesta key...thanks for your responses..I had to book fast with it being memorial day weekend.
