Didn't get to go on Mardi Gras or Festivale.

Raoul posted a really neat pic of the former Carnivale as current long while back.

Carnival's list of ships gone:

Mardi Gras - sold then scrapped in 2003
(I think)
Carnivale - sold (never got to sail that one, but she is still sailing under another line)

Festivale - sold
Tropicale - sold
Jubilee - sold
Looks like the Holiday "may be" heading that way at the end of 2007.

Have you heard something? The ship is quite refreshed and is in great shape. Perhaps they are planning to move Holiday and replace her with a Fantasy class ship? The CD on our March cruise essentially said so.

I'd hate to see Holiday go from Mobile, but then again I wouldn't mind a slightly bigger ship cruising out of there.

There were rumors about the Holiday back in 2001 being sold or re-branded. The crew were even making plans. It was in San Juan then, then they moved it instead.

I hope they don't sell it, I wish they would bring it to Charleston if they need to put a bigger ship in Mobile.
