We are on the Star Princess out of Seattle, leaving Sept. 7, 2008. The towns are Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria. Any information would be appreciated that would help make our cruise experience a great one. We have been on one other cruise in the year of 2001 and loved it.

Maybe we'll see one another. We are looking for some great land excursions. Have read mixed reviews about the White pass Scenic Railroad in Skagway. Some said not to take it, others said not to miss it. Jean

We were in Alaska in May on the Coral Princess. We did the "Best of Skagway" tour and would highly recommend it. The train ride going up the mountain was not only beautiful but very interesting as they explained the building of the railroad. If you take any White Pass tour, be sure to sit on the left side of the train, as it goes up the mountain. There is much more to see on that side.
