cabin location

Need help in choosing a cabin location. We have cruised before, and are taking an inside cabin. Traveling on the Norwegian Jewel. Options are front of the ship on deck 8 or middle of the ship on deck 10. Deck 8 would be above the stardust lounge. Concerns are front of the ship do you get alot of pounding from the water? Deck 10 being higher up do you get more rock on a windy day? Please help.

I'd pick the deck 10 midship for 3 reasons.
1) The potential noise from the Stardust Lounge
2) you may notice a bit more movement in the far front of the ship (more so from the side to side movement
3) Midship is a closer walk to everywhere else. I fyou are in the front, you walk a long way to everything.

Deck 10, mid-ship hands down. I've sailed both forward and aft cabins, and will only sail mid-ship. A lot smoother.
