Ok, this is dumb but here goes... When you are filling out your passport info on the Carnival website it asks for the city of issuance/authority. Is that the city you live in? Yeah, dumb question, right?

If you are from the U.S., look in the lower right hand corner under "Authority." It will either have a city, or something like National Passport Center.
Not a dumb question at all. City of issuance is usually Texas or Miami, Charleston, this is actually the agency that it was sent to, and it will say so on your passport.
I live in Orlando,FL. However my passport was issued in Miami (my hometown). Therefore, it is easy for me to get the two confused.
It should state where the passport was issued, on the passport itself. I don't know why they ask this question. A passport is a Federal Document, it shouldn't matter where it was issued so long as it was within the US.
