We had guaranteed cabin on RCI and the price went down on the cabin. RCI was nice enough to give us the discount and credit our card, but we had to give up the cabin assignment we ahd and go back into the "pool". We were lucky enough to move up a deck when we found out our new cabin location. The rep told us that we wouldn't need new "docs" mailed to us because they go by the res.# in the system when you board. My question is: We have already received our doc's and of course they have the original cabin number on the luggage tags. RCI assured me that when I check in, I can get new tags. My concern is when you pull up to drop off your bags, I have never seen any desk or keosk set up with a rep to get new tags. I don't want this to be a big mess and our luggage ends up getting lost. Any advice would be appreciated. We thought of scratching out the old cabin number and wrting in the new, but the tags are color coded by deck? I really don't want to lug our luggage through the embarkation process, and then have to carry it around until our room is ready.
