We are from the UK and had booked our previous Celebrity cruises through a US agent with no problems. For our transatlantic cruise this year I discovered it is much cheaper to book through agents in other countries, especially within 3 months of the cruise. We had booked a sky suite for this year and managed to cancel our booking (paying a $50 cancellation charge to the agent) and rebook a Royal Suite with the Celebrity agent in France and still save $400. You can easily compare the price by logging onto
www.celebrity.com, on this page look for where it says '
Not from the US on the left of the screen. Change this to France, Germany or Australia and comparing the rates. The only word of warning I shall give is all the cruise documents are in French, not a problem for us as we've only ever got e docs before.
