What do you think is the best cruise line for families? My kids are 9 and 11, my husband is easily bored to and he is not a gambler, so he is also a 45yr old child.
How about Royal Caribbean or Carnival.
They both offer special things for kids and adults.
I only know RCCL and love this cruiseline, but heard many positive things about Carnival from parents, travelling with their kids.
Hear some other opinions.

Have you considered Disney? The cabins are roomy, and as your husband doesn't gamble, the fact that the ship doesn't have a casino won't bother him. Yet as Disney is comparatively expensive, I agree that Royal Caribbean (particularly the Voyager class) is a good option.
We love RCCL and are taking our boys on their second cruise in three years. As for your husband what does he enjoy.
There are simulator Golf ranges
putt putt golf
basketball courts
in-line skating
gym with machines
game room
tv rooms
cigar smoking rooms
bars
shopping
internet
spa
shall I keep going. There has got to be something for him.
I'm usually dead tired at the end of everyday trying to fit in as much as I can. I'm a 45 year old kid and have not been bored one moment on a cruise.
see what he likes and I'll bet something close if not the real thing will be on the ship.

Carnival is our personal favorite. We tried them all last year. My husband is the mental health anchor for our fox news and he researched all of the kid's programs. Our entire family agreed that Carnival was the best for families with younger kids (our kids ages are 7,4 and 2). Disney is great too, but I found having the Disney environment(always lines for characters) reminded me of the hustle and bustle of being at an amusement park. Plus, in some cases the price is double.
