Looking for a Mediterranean cruise in Dec...

Your subject line was truncated but I suppose you are looking for a Med cruise this upcoming December, right?

There aren't too many options at that time of the year. Costa Crociere would be the most obvious one. The company (a Carnival affiliate) operates several modern, large cruise ships in the Mediterranean during the winter months, as well.

If you go Costa's web site you can choose your country and language at the top of the page. The site might not have December, 2005 departure dates posted, yet. If so, a cruise-specialized travel agent will gladly help.

I know for sure that Costa operates Mediterranean cruises year-round. If they are not yet on the site, they will be added shortly.

As mentioned above, I would suggest getting in touch with a cruise-specialized TA. The cruises might even be open for booking already, even if they are not yet featured on their web site. This is not necessarily uncommon.

why not have a look at www.easyCruise.com

It's not luxury cruising as we know it, but it should be great fun..........

It works more like a scheduled airline so you can mix and match cruise segments, getting on and off where you want, and because you need to book your own flights you could cruise a few days, have a few days on land, cruise some more, etc etc etc

Its a new concept, but easyJet, the airline is flying high

Costa does do the Med in winter but they do not have any December sailings. Try November or January.

easyCruise is like a hostel at sea. Very bare-bones accommodations (the mattress is on a plastic platform a few inches above the ground; you pay extra to have your cabin cleaned, for meals, etc.) Small ship too.

Sounds sort of like the complete antithesis to what we have come to equate with the cruise experience.
