Have a question if anyone doesn't mind helping. I got my first digital camera yesterday, It says 7.2 and said 7 pictures remaining before taking any pics. I bought the 1GB card and now says 499.
It has the ability to change the 7.2MP downward. I thought the MP was about pic quality, but it changes the size description when I change it. Any advice would be appreciated about what is best to set it on.
Ken, that be the one! We ordered 2 - 54" Panasonic plasma screen televisions from them a month ago. My husband searched every store imaginable and B&H was, by far, the cheapest (even with shipping). I told you he was a procrastinator.
By the way, we got a 50" deck Cub Cadet w/hydrostatic start? He's weeping with joy! I believe only a man would truly appreciate that.
Dwayne, sorry, my husband is the Grand Poo Pah Master when it comes to cameras. I can ask him for you if you'd like. He's on a shoot today. But, I can get back to you tonight.
Dwayne, okay, here's what I'm getting directly from my husband. The smaller the megapixel, the smaller the file size. The smaller the file size, the more fits on the card.
The higher the megapixel, the higher the image quality will be. The higher the image quality, the larger the file size is. The larger the file size, the less that will fit onto your card.
Lowering the megapixels, lowers the quality, but you can take more photos.
Got it????
I typed as he dictated. It's all Greek to me. I hope you can ascertain all of that. Good luck.

A'ndrea, Thank you! It was the size that was confusing me. I thought I was changing the size of the pics. I am an old 35mm amateur and can understand f-stops and film speed. But the digital is a whole new learning process. I feel like my parents when they have to have me set up their vcr and dvd
Congrats on the super size tvs, and tell the DH thanks for me, and to enjoy the cub cadet, I bet he is happy with that wide path
Chef Ken:
B&H is a superstore located in Broklyn, New York, dedicated to cameras and video. They sell everything to do with photography and videography. And they do have a website. Here it is: Click Here For B&H
You're welcome Dwayne. I hope I didn't confuse you too much. I felt like the secretary with the boss man over my shoulder as I was typing.
He is in 7th heaven with this new 50" deck. I'm pretty sure he hears angels singing.
Ken, you're funny... Benson & Hedges. My mom used to smoke them when I was a kid. I remember them as being very long. My dad was a non-filter Pall Mall kind of guy. Hacked like a fiend every day. Both quit, (thank God) cold turkey, 30 years ago.

For disposable Fuji had better color than Kodak in my opinion.
A dive shop recommended this camera for frequent divers and snorkeling with an enclosure for depths greater than 10'.
