Hi Lisa, I actually have that book, but have never read it. Several years ago I was doing some research on titanic (the subject). People from work gave me alot of books, I didn't know it was a famous book because it was a small paperback.
Going to dust it off and take it along this time. The bookmark story was awesome.
I love to take an Evanovich book when traveling. They are funny and light-hearted reading. I've read all twelve in her Stephanie Plum series and I'm waiting for number thirteen to come out in paperback.
My preferences would be:
The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald---Fred Stonehouse
or
Wilful Murder:The Sinking of the Lusitania---Diana Preston
One makes you appreciate the awesome power of Mother Nature and the other makes you understand the power of the U-20 submarine.
Carl HIAASEN for visitors to Florida, Tom Corcoran mysteries for visitors to Key West. Love the Corcorans. Lots of local colour. He brings up specifics that anyone who has spent time in Key West will love. Hiassen is funny.
