Hi all,
Recently I have noticed a trend where people post questions about cruise-related topics and many of the responses end up having nothing to do with the topic! Often these are little asides which are attempts at sounding humorous or otherwise witty and cool. And, I admit to being guilty of this myself.
This note is to remind everyone (including myself) that we need to respond to threads in a pertinent manner, and not hijack the threads in some attempt to impress others with how witty we are (or we think we are). For example, if someone posts a note asking about XYZ cruise ship they deserve to get responses about XYZ cruise ship - and not a bunch of non-related notes about what someone had for breakfast that morning, wry comments about someone's good fortune to take many cruises, or other guffaws and knee-slappers. Please try to keep on-topic, and keep the "happy hour bar chatter" in the appropriate threads.
Thank you for listening.
