Port Charges

Has anybody noticed that on Royal Caribbeans booking site, that they are not charging the port fees?

Do they add these on later? When you get to the final payment page, it still shows the fee without the port fees. On my cruise, it should add 189.00 per person, it doe not.

Port fees are rolled into the cruise fare.

I would assume that, except for the fact that my travel agent is charging me 378.00 more than the exact fare that RCCL is charging on the web site.

Can you provide more details, such as which cruise, itinerary, etc.?

All I can tell you is, looking at the invoice for my next RCI cruise I have line items for the cruise fare, fuel surcharges, C&A member discount, and taxes (which are not the port fees). Port fees are not listed.

Hi Dave, I talked to RCCL and my TA. All is well, now. My agent and RCCL said that the port fees are in the base cruise fare with taxes and fuel charges added.

My original conf from RCCL list our base fare for Prom view state room as 1049.00. I looked this weekend and found same room for 849.00. My agent called RCCL and found out they "dropped prices" this week end. So they lowered my fare to 849.00 plus fees. So my cruise went from 2457.42 to 2057.42. Happy days!

We are going on EOS New England/Canada 10/15/09.
