We always come back with more more stuff. Any ideas on how to get it home? Pay the airlines for another suitcase? UPS? Mail? What do you folks do?
Thanks,
Papa

Most likely paying the additional baggage fee would be cheaper than shipping back.

We have approached this dilemma several ways (you would think we would learn not to buy so much!). Anyway, in Alaska we bought a cheap duffle bag and paid the extra luggage fee on the airline.

One time we had an extra day in Miami before returning home and mailed souvenirs home. If you do this, your best bet is to send home the lightest weight stuff so it doesn't cost so much. I think we ended up shipping home all the dirty clothes!

A couple times we threw away some old stuff to make room for new stuff.

On one of our Celebrity cruises, they actually had FedEx service right on the ship. That was a great service, but they no longer do that.

It's a hassle but it doesn't stop my husband from souvenir shopping. He's worse than I am!

We do not buy much, but always end up with something. We usually try to pack light to begin with. That way we are not totally full from the start.
I would think an extra carry on would be cheaper than mailing it home.
