I had a few questions on some stuff...

Im planing my 2nd cruise but finally with out parents all 21-25year old passengers...

What would be the best cruise line...
Look for best night life entertainment?
And best ports?

While all of your questions are subjective - what is "best" to me may not be so for you - if I were 21 again and traveling with a group of friends my age, I would do a western Caribbean cruise on Carnival or Royal Caribbean. I would want to stop in Cozumel and do a private island stop.

I would agree with Dave. Only I would think Carnival would win by an inch.

Yeah...From looking around on different posts thats who I'm leaning towards...I did the southern caribbean about 3 years ago...St. Thomas, Anitgua, Aruba, and Gaudalope...Any other suggestions on ports?

As you know, just about every western Caribbean cruise stops at Jamaica and Grand Cayman. Many go to Belize too, which is still very much a rustic place. But they are trying hard and there are some good tours there.

We did a great western Caribbean during New Years of 2004/2005. This was an 8-day on the Carnival Legend which went to Costa Rica and Panama, as well as Belize. I'm not sure if they still offer this itinerary, which was quite interesting and something different.

I agree with Dave that the western Caribbean itineraries seem to offer more that would appeal to the 21- 25 yr. old set in the way of port activities.

I see that the Carnival Liberty has taken over the 8-day cruise I mentioned - going to Panama, Costa Rica, and Costa Maya instead of Belize. I think the Costa Maya stop is a better choice than Belize. You ought to consider this cruise. I may consider it myself!

Thanks Alot Dave and everyone else who has giving me great advice...I am looking at the 7-Day Western Carribean cruise.

In anyones opinion what do you think about Carnival Miracle compared to Carnival Triumph?

And what would you recommend Belize or Ocho Rios?

Both are really nice ships. But because of the itinery and the difference in cost between the two ships, you probably will find the Triumph has more people your age. I haven't personally been to Belize. I have heard good and bad. Belize has the largest coral reef for snorkeling after the Great Barrier reef.
