So has Celebration been taken out of service all together?

The Celebration was removed from service in April. It is undergoing refurbishment and will be moved to Iberocruceros in Spain and renamed the Grand Celebration.

No. The new venture is a joint operation between Carnival and a large Spanish travel agency. The Celebration will not be in the Carnival fleet although Carnival Corporation will still have a stake in the ship.
