I work with a girl whose husband's boat capsized while fishing in Ontario, Canada over the weekend. They have not been able to locate him as of yet. Would you please pray foremost for him to be found alive, but also pray that if God has taken him home that they recover his body so the family can put him to rest. This has been a very hard time for his family. Thanks for being a "family" of friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with your co-worker and her family. Let's hope her husband is alive and just waiting to be found somewhere. Please keep us posted.

Thanks. LHT28 - Not sure exactly where it was but somewhere up your way on a lake from what the media has said. We haven't received a lot of details. They said they would have more info sometime today.

Here is what was on KTTC TV last night:

A fishing trip in Canada turns deadly for a Pine Island man.
Authorities say 62 year-old Jim Brogan is presumed dead after a fishing accident at a remote fly-in lake in northeastern Ontario.
Authorities say Brogan and another man were fishing when their boat capsized... the other man survived. Underwater search and rescue crews have not recovered Brogan's body but continue searching.

Oh my Greyson, that's horrible news. I'll be happy to add your friend to my prayers. Were they lake fishing? Did a storm come up? Were they in a small vessel? I pray for the best!

Penny, I really have no details yet except that they were fishing at a fly-in lake. Will keep you posted. Again, thanks for the prayers, I can always count on people on this site. You are all truly wonderful!

You are all in our prayers.A similar thing happened to an acquaintance (but in the Atlantic Ocean). It is so hard when a body is not recovered. God is faithful to give us comfort in times of troubles.

Here is an update from KTTC in Rochester, Minnesota: ROCHESTER, MN -- The search for a Pine Island man who went missing during a fishing trip continues. It happened on remote Kearns Lake thats in Northeastern Ontario.
Authorities say 62 year-old Jim Brogan is presumed dead despite the fact that rescue crews have not recovered brogan's body. According to Jim's son the search has moved on-shore, there are a number of islands that are in that area. Authorities say Brogan and another man were fishing when their boat capsized. The other man survived.
