Just saw a news report that the Homeland security that shows that common sense is prevailing-

"Travelers will be allowed to carry travel-size toiletries of 3 ounces (90 ml) or less in a small clear-plastic bag, the Transportation Security Administration said. They also may carry on drinks and other items purchased in the secure areas of the airport"

It may take a couple of days to clarify exactly what is able to be carried on with this new policy, but at least cruisers can start packing a toiletries bag in their "anti-luggage delayed/lost" carry on. You will just have to go purchase the "travel size" items (toothpaste, lotions, shave cream deoderants etc..)

This make things easier for travellers.
