but I was searching facebook and there are a lot of things,people, groups etc. about cruising
Do cruise-chat have a facebook group??
It will be really neat to know a few friends from the forum this way...
Cruise-Chat dosen't have an official facebook group but some of us are active there.
I would be happy to get to know more of the Cruise-Chat family. Just send a "friend request" to Frederick Mattox and add a little message that you know me from Cruise-Chat :-)
We don't have an official page or group as f-mattox noted. There are several of us on FB that are mutual friends. I'll get with Dave and Lisa about this. We may have to get IB's approval for an "Official" page or group.
I just joined Facebook. I don't know much about it either. Keep us informed if cruisechat participates. I would enjoy meeting the folks from this site.

I am a member, but have never done anything with my page. I don't twit, facebook, ect. Do not know why just don't. I might have to give it a try.
It's a little overwhelming at first, Gary, but once you find your way around, it's kind of fun. You'll find out that some of us have a lot more in common than just cruising. It's kind of like a big "Lido Deck", but you can include family and other friends as well.

I figured that it wouldn't be long before someone mentioned the "F-word" around here. It seems that every social networking site has to have a page on FB. I have about 10 friends with about 150 friend requests that I have not even looked at. I am not arrogant... I am just not going to open my page for every person who might have seen my picture in a dilapidated high school yearbook. I, for one, am glad that Cruise Chat has steered clear of the all-too-intrusive FB trend. I know that I represent just one person's opinion but, in this age of rapidly available personal information, it's nice that this forum exists without the growing presence of other social media.
Not a silly question at all, i've seen that alot of websites like cruise.co.uk have facebook pages but i think that it would be great if cruise-chat had a facebook page.
