I WOULD LOVE TO SEE AN ALL CANADIAN CRUISE LINE OUT OF VANCOUVER--THE MARKET IS THERE, IT JUST NEEDS TO BE PROMOTED AND WITH CRUISES BEING MORE FOR THE MONEY I THINK ITS A SITTING GOLD MINE WAITING FOR SOMEONE WITH PANASH TO DO IT ANY OTHER CANADIANS OUT THERE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS??

HI F-MATTOX, SATURATED??WE ONLY SEE CRUISE SHIPS FROM APRIL TO OCT AND THEY ARE ALL AMERICAN OR EUROPEAN CARRIERS, MY POINT WAS JUST TO SEE A CANADIAN LINE CREATED FOR THE OTHER MONTHS IN THE WINTER LIKE TO MEXICO OR HAWAII FROM OCT-APRIL OUR CRUISE SHIP TERMINALS ARE EMPTY THEN....A CHARTER CRUISE COMPANY WOULD BE GREAT....

I certainly understand your desire to more fully utilize your lovely Canada Place Terminal (i hope I have the name right) and to promote tourism in Vancouver, which is just a beautiful city; I have spent a fair amount of time there and really love it.
I just wonder if there is really enough of a market there from October to April. I see Princess is trying cruises from Vancouver to Hawaii in May and September. Maybe if thsese click you Canadians can try it in other months as well. I am reminded that Princess started with one leased vessel that was a far cry from anything cruising today.
I think it's worth noting, however, that Princess is discontinuing its Mexican Riviera sailings from San Francisco, and while no official reason has been given, it is probably safe to assume that lack of market interest is behind it. I have read several reviews here that have said it is just too far, too cold, and too rough.
But I wish you all the best and fully appreciate your desire to develop a Canadian cruise presence.
