Inside Cabins

Hello,

I have had inside cabins which were fine, and outside cabins which were very nice. As with much of life, with cruises especially you get what you pay for. To answer your question, most of the people who look at this website love cruising and most probably do not care whether they are inside or outside, just so that they are on a ship. Get an inside at a fair price and you will probably become a cruise addict as well.

Sorry to disagree guys but I wouldn't pick an inside cabin. It's got nothing to do with the size, they all seem the same layout, but I always feel claustrophobic when there is no natural light coming tho'. We always sleep with the curtains open as it's a nice surprise to wake up looking out to sea or even looking onto a new port of call. However we do have to pay for that nice view .

Billy makes a good point...it depends on your tolerance for a closed environment. We have had both inside, outside, and balcony and have been satisfied with all three but we CAN tolerate a closed environment since we spend very little time in the cabin. Balconies are nice but to me an outside without balcony is not worth the extra money. We are leaving later this month for my 7th cruise and have booked an inside cabin....gives more to spend on other things.

We have been on 11 cruises and in August we booked our first inside cabin, I was also concerned about not having the natural light and being clausterphobic. We booked a gurantee inside on HAL Zuiderdam and was very pleased with the cabin, the layout and as far as service, whether you get balcony, oceanview or inside, you get the exact same service. Go with the inside, saves lots of money. We will book inside again especially when its a last minute deal.
