Which cruise line

Hi we are new to cruising have only done a 4 day royal car and are doing a 7 day rayal caarr this fall. Next spring we plan to do a hawaii to Vancouver we have a choice of either carnival or princess.Who would you recommend ?? both have basically same itinerary
Would appreciate any info

I think Princess has a "Coral"-class ship ("Coral Princess" or "Island Princess") operating that itinerary, right? If so, the ships (Carnival uses "Carnival Spirit") are fairly similar, the main difference being that Carnival is more Las Vegas like while Princess has a more European style. As for the product, Princess is considered somewhat more "upscale" - even though both cruise lines are in the standard segment of the market - while Carnival offers a somewhat "younger" product.

Personally, I would consider either a good choice. Sorry, I guess that doesn't make it much easier for you.

After what Raoul wrote, I would have to take the price of either cruise line into consideration. Carnival should be less expensive than Princess.

Definitely Princess. We've cruised RCL, NCL, HAL, Carnival, Costa, and Princess. To me, Princess does it best. The ships are immaculate, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. Best wishes!!
