How do you get the best rate. Where do you go. We have special things we need so we can not wait till last min.

You can do a search on the internet for your cruise prices, then call a local travel agent, especially one that specializes in cruies, to find their price. I don't know when you are planning on cruising, but there are certain times of the year that the prices are the highest. That is usually when school is out and during holidays. If you are planning on cruising this year, you need to start looking at prices now. The cruiselines have already released their 2006 prices and some of the 2007 prices.

Cruising has become such a popular way to vacation that more and more people are booking as much as a year or more in advance. In fact I have already booked one for my family for Nov. of 2006 and have friends that have booked for Dec. 2006.

You will find the majorty of the people on this board will suggest that the best way to book yor cruise is through a local travel agent that is a cruise specialist (an opinion I totally agree with)- Particularly since you mention that you have special needs.

We now booked! (thanks to your help) we went with our friends travel agent. we got a room that is next to them compared to other webs we would have been 10 rooms down. We got a much cheaper rate! thanks
