Texas Clipper, RIP

The Texas Clipper, the former training ship for the Texas Maritime Academy, was sunk yesterday as part of an artificial reef project. The ship began life in WW2 as an attack transport vessel and later was converted to a combination freighter/passenger ship called the SS Excambion for American Export Lines. Read about it here .
