I think we would all "fight" for the "secret cruiser" job (like a secret shopper) !!

Smooth sailing.
World~citizen I see you are relativly new to cruise chat. Welcome. I have found this site to be very good about monitoring the room and calling us if we get to commercial. There have been employees signed on and travel agents and sometimes they have the best info and ID themselves properly. As my moniker implies my daughter is an employee of Carnival. A dancer to be specific and because of that I can provide inside info sometimes. You just need to recognize I may be partial to Carnival.

It's a great site, look around and ask anything

I might just have to give you a "jingle" when we get "dog serious" (a Southern expression) about our trip to Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

We would love to do it in the form of a cruise, but we are afraid we would not get to see "enough" of the country. And the land tours we have looked at either have to much England (nothing against them...just not interested) or seeing both Ireland and Scotland take up tooo many days.

We need about a 10 day trip that will do both (preferably with one day in Wales...but that may be stretching it).

And then there is airfare that puts a damper on everything.

Anyway, we are still looking. Travel Zoo pops up with an interesting last minute jaunts every now and then. We may just have to do a couple of those....

Yes, There are some nice British Isles cruises, but I think Ireland is a definite place you must spend more time. There are some nice land tours that are 11 days British and Ireland "Highlights". It gives you 2nts in Dublin. A must in Dublin is go up to the top of the Guinness Brewery where you can have a view of the city and throw down some "Pints".

Pardon me for being a bit skeptical... This very website has learned from the past about someone representing an organization that he is openly questioning. In the person's attempt to gain market feedback, they often belittle or fail to understand their industry. I find it best to succinctly answer a question and quickly move to another topic.

This sounds right up our alley. We would be just as content to go from Pub to Pub visiting with the locals. We are not big into castles and such...
