Please help us make a decision! Grand Princess or Explorer of the Seas? My husband and I want a balcony cabin with the best view while sitting on the balcony (meaning we want to be able to see the water while sitting down!). What is your opinion? You seem to be so knowledgeable, I thought maybe you could help!

Thanks for the compliment! Actually, although I have toured both ships, I am not 100% certain whether the balconies on Grand Princess are "see-through." Explorer's are. That should not be your only consideration, however. Seriously, check with your travel agent about which ship is best for you. If you don't have one, ask friends/acquaintances who they have been happy with, or feel free to email me (travel@knowlton.org.) Happy cruising!
