No, not until April, 2008; but I would highly recommend the Island Princess. As you can see by my tickers, I'm spending a fair amount of time on her in the next year.

I saw that shipped docked in Alaska when we were on HAL, looks like a gorgeous, and huge ship.

Yes, she's a beauty; and at 46.7 she and sister Coral Princess have the highest passenger/space ratio in the fleet.

And cousins, the Coral Princess does a Vancouver/San Francosco to Ft. Lauderdale in September and the reverse next April. You don't indicate where you live, but I like to get the flying out of the way first and then sail home.

Yes we live in Palm Beach FL and that's why we were looking to fly to CA first and then sail back. Thanks for the info.
Is having a larger ship with more people always a good thing though?

cousins, you may have misread f-mattox's comment. "highest passenger/space ratio....meaning "more room per passenger"....thus, feeling less crowded.

Yes, cousins; if you divide the gross tons by the double occupancy passenger capacity, you get the pax/space ratio.
It is a pretty good indicator, but by no means an exact science.

For example, the Regal Princess had a lower p/s ratio, but no ship I've been on felt as roomy. It has as much to do with how the decks are laid out as it does with actual volume of space.
